The results

It’s fair to say that the 2022 winner of Battle of the Bags was Go Puff. At any fair that we activated at, you would see the wave of blue bags brimming with samples leaving campus. The immediate impact of this was an increase in app downloads, new users and student customers.

The brief

With a focus on convenience by delivering groceries to consumers' doors, Go Puff identified students as a key market segment to target as they looked to sustain their growth plans. As such, The Crowd team were used to support their 2022 freshers’ campaign, which was carried out in their 12 key operating cities.

How we delivered

By utilising Go Puff’s extensive offering of products, we were able to encourage students to download the app in order to get their hands on some free samples. Samples included student favourites such as Lucozade Alert, Asahi and Peroni 0. These were handed out along with an enormous blue Go Puff bag.


Behind the scenes, Crowd stored stock across multiple locations throughout the UK and transported it to each event. We also created a vibrant, eye-catching stand and provided our top-notch promotional staff.
