Freshers’ Fair Tour to promote Art Fund’s Student Art Pass.

The results

The campaign proved popular with students who engaged with the brand during the tour and generated 3,484 new sign-ups, exceeding the targets that Crowd was set by Art Fund.

The brief

To promote Art Fund’s Student Art Pass to thousands of students during Freshers Week 2022, with a key focus on sustainability, raising awareness of the brand and giving students an opportunity to visit galleries and museums across the country for free or at a discounted rate of just £5 for the year.

How we delivered

Using our extensive knowledge and relationships with universities across the country, The Crowd Agency worked closely with Art Fund to carefully select the most appropriate Students’ Union freshers’ fairs to promote the Student Art Pass and create a targeted Freshers’ Fair Tour, visiting 15 campuses over 17 days. 


The Crowd Agency managed all of the tour logistics, including securing sites on campus, hiring and managing high-quality promotional staff and designing a unique and eco-friendly stand setup, created using recycled/ recyclable materials.


We incorporated Apple and Google Pay into the process to ensure students were able to swiftly sign up and purchase their Art Pass on the day, eliminating the need for over-reliance on lengthy sign-up forms and touchy Internet connection.
