Media Account Manager
Weekly Hours: 37.5
Salary: £24,000 + Company Bonus
Responsible to: Director
Location: Milton Keynes (we also have an office in Gloucestershire and use of our groups office in London)
Working Practice: Hybrid working is possible, however we will expect successful applicants to work a minimum of 3 days per week from the office location
The Crowd Agency works in partnership with our sister agency, Native to provide outsourced media sales support to Students’ Unions. We have acquired the full media rights at 20 Students’ Unions giving those organisations financial security and taking on the workload involved in promoting, selling and fulfilling their media opportunities including Freshers Fairs, On-campus stalls, Email, Web Banners, Posters/Digital Display and social media alongside a host of other advertising opportunities.
We anticipate rapid growth which will result in us supporting over 30 Students’ Unions by June 2022 and to enable these contracts to be fully managed we are now growing our media sales team from a newly set up office within Milton Keynes.
The role will have full accountability for a portfolio of Students’ Union partners and be their primary contact point. They will be responsible for building key relationships with their Students’ Unions so being an effective communicator is essential.
The role will require a high attention to detail, an ability to manage within a fast paced environment and a need to find solutions for our clients ensuring that all bookings placed into them are managed efficiently.
Experience and Skills - Essential
An excellent communicator both verbally and in written format
Comfortable building strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
You will thrive on working to targets and will be able to confidently negotiate with clients to identify new opportunities and maximise sales revenue
You will be focussed on the detail ensuring mistakes are minimised
You will be resilient and able to deal with setbacks and present alternative solutions to problems
You will have strong project management skills
Experience and Skills - Desired
You will be comfortable working to targets and will be able to confidently negotiate with clients to maximise sales revenue
You will have worked in a new business environment and demonstrated your ability to work closely with clients in a consultative manner.
You will ideally have some knowledge of Students’ Unions and their media
Experience using Hubspot or similar CRM software would be an advantage
