Location: WFH With options to work in offices in Worcestershire & London
We have acquired the full exclusive media rights at a number of Students’ Unions (Media Partners) and we now need a Media Manager who will be responsible for looking after media sales and maximising the value at our key sites. This will be achieved through dealing promptly with all inbound enquiries and pro actively seeking out new clients.
The Media Manager will also be responsible for managing the relationship with the Students’ Unions in their portfolio.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Deal promptly with all inbound enquiries regarding advertising opportunities at media partners
Consultatively support clients to secure media options which match their needs
Seek out opportunities to upsell and cross sell opportunities to maximise revenue opportunities
Qualify all inbound clients to establish if they require support at additional Students’ Unions and pass these over where required
Qualify all inbound clients to establish if they require additional support including event management, staffing, logistics, research and creative
Build a database of client leads that can be filtered and managed to support outbound marketing activity
Proactively allocate time each day to conduct outbound activity generating new business opportunities and growing revenue
Work closely with the Students Unions in your portfolio to maximise the media offering.
Communicate with the wider team so that all orders are coordinated effectively
Communicate fully with finance to ensure all orders are invoiced correctly and promptly
Desired Experience and Skills
You will be comfortable working to targets and will be able to confidently negotiate with clients to maximise sales revenue
You will have worked in a new business environment and demonstrated your ability to work closely with clients in a consultative manner.
You will ideally have some knowledge of Students’ Unions and their media
Experience using Hubspot or similar CRM software would be an advantage
Current media partners the role will sell on behalf of are - Abertay, Gloucestershire, Goldsmiths, Lincoln, London Metropolitan, Newman and University College London. We anticipate ten more media partners being added to our portfolio by Easter 2022.
